  2. While the leftovers and gunk are being washed off your dishes, your dinner is cooking right next to it.

Dumpster diving is dangerous and oftentimes it’s illegal. Dumpsters and trashcans are commonly placed on private property. Taking food from dumpsters on private property is trespassing. And because it is on private property, it’s stealing.

Not to mention that eating food from the trash can make your sick. It can even kill you.
